Naples Wood Plank Repaint From Natural Wood to Shoji White

This Naples wood plank repaint converted the natural wood walls of a residential home in Naples, ME, to a painted finish. CYR Painting Service completed the full interior conversion using Sherwin-Williams Shoji White SW 7042 in a satin finish.

The project took 19 days and focused on changing the appearance of the existing wood planks without removing them. The lighter painted finish gave the interior a cleaner, more consistent look while keeping the original wall material in place.

The interior painting project also included a bath cabinet finished in Sherwin-Williams Let It Rain SW 9152. Both colors were selected in satin finishes.

The main goal was to move away from the natural wood appearance throughout the interior. Rather than replacing the plank walls, the existing surfaces were kept and changed to a painted finish.

Shoji White provided a lighter neutral color across the wood planks. The bath cabinet received Let It Rain, adding a separate blue-gray color within the updated interior.

The natural wood walls now have a consistent Shoji White finish throughout the interior. Painting the existing planks changed the look of the rooms while retaining the texture and lines of the original wood surfaces.

The Let It Rain bath cabinet adds contrast to the lighter wall color. Together, the two finishes gave the home a noticeably different interior without replacing the existing plank walls.
